Jesse is ready for fall
I made Jesse a cute little match-with-everything fall hat. I wanted it to be not too babyish, but not too grown up either! I am pretty darn pleased with how it turned out. The brim is in the “safari hat” spirit, though its only in the front and is also smaller. The brim is also done in a rib, with bobbles encircling it. Each bobble is nested in the cable which continues to the top of the hat! This hat went through many iterations, I’m glad its finished now and it was worth all the ripping out to get something I am happy with.
I also think this post should be entitled “Why I need Karin” because now that I am spoiled by her photography, I feel like my own pictures are just shameful. I do have to thank all the non-existent bugs for their contributions to me getting ANY pictures at all!
(In this case, I will also use the excuse that I made Jesse put on a long sleeve shirt in the 90 degree weather, just so I could see what the hat would look like in the appropriate season! He was less than thrilled)
And this just goes to show how much Jesse did not want to be in pictures today :) He does not have the hat on really so don’t worry, it doesn’t fit like this in the front!
CUTE!!!!!!
Wow! These photos are gorgeous! (Doesn't hurt that the models are cutie-patooties too ;-) )
I'm gonna go look for the brown hat on Jesse to order for my Li'l Boo now.
oOOooOOO! How much is this one! It was already sold on your etsy!
Relisted it now :)
Lovely hat :-)
